How do I turn off Page Protection on the UI Builder

I want to play around with the UI builder and see what it does. I am in my Dev instance. I go to the Service Operations Workspace in the UI Builder. I want to Edit the ServiceDesk landing page. When I click on the editor link. On the top let there is a message "Read only: The page definition has a protection policy".

How do I turn that off so I can edit the page?

Hi,

You can not turn off the protection policy.

To play around with it, you must duplicate the page variant and then mark the OOTB variant as inactive or change the order to a higher value.

What if it doesn’t let you save the ootb page as not active or even changing the order?

That’s what we are experiencing with the adhoc approver page

I actually haven't solved this - it continues to be a bug and thorn in our side 😞 let me know if you end up solving it!
