AI Search Topic Block Not Working

Hi, I'm attempting to customize our fallback topic for Virtual Agent and we'd like to give user's the option to search through our knowledge and catalog items. I've built out the flow and have used the AI Search topic block as seen below, however whenever I try to trigger it, it just ends the conversation and doesn't actually run an AI Search. I've also tried duplicating the AI Search - Fallback and turning it into a topic block with input parameters, but am obtaining the same result. Does anyone know what this issue could be?

Check the condition of the Search term.
Also, try to add the logs and check if you are getting errors.

The search term is correct and our logs aren't indicating any errors
