Hi Community Members,
I am currently exploring bulk translation of knowledge articles via localization framework which is introduced in Tokyo.
Hence, I have followed steps mentioned in the doc below:
Moreover, after following the steps I open knowledge article, I see request translations link at left bottom of the article but when I click it nothing happens (As per doc expectation is that a window will popup to ask desired language and post the localization task will be created.)
Please let me know if I am missing something or if anyone have faced this issue ..
Regards,
Manal Aquil

So the user journey is essentially like this:
- [Request translation] - task is generated for that article in the desired language
- In the task, articles can either be manually translated by a person in the Comparison UI, or "Translate" can be used to send to a CloudMT provider using Dynamic Translation, or it can be sent to a "TMS".
- A "Draft" article is created when either the user has clicked "Publish" or the workflow being used for the artifact is "auto-publish" is reached,
- The subsequent article will need to be "Published" as per the KB flow being used in that KB
You might find the following clip (from a previous webinar) useful as I go through the concepts of how the Localization Framework works:

@Manal Aquil,
So, as you stated in the other thread that you have set up a "settings" record for the artifact, I suspect you might be using the old UI action from "Translation Management", in that the one in Localization Framework is actually on the list view of the [kb_knowledge] table;
So the way to use it, is to select the number of articles in the list (1-100 in quantity) then choose what languages to make a task for:
This docs article explains exactly what I'm doing here,
Many thanks,
kind regards

@Manal Aquil,
Depending on how many articles and in how many languages you are requesting, it may take a bit of time (a few mins possibly) to create all of the tasks,
Many thanks,
kind regards

Hi Alex,
In my scenario, when I select the knowledge articles in the list view and click on "Request Translations" from the bottom left icon "Action on the selected Rows". LRITMs are created and closed complete and for few it's showing skipped. But, when i Open the Translated content its not translated & its in draft state. & When I do Translate each article separately from the Related Links -> Translation. It's getting translated.
Also, when i click on Request Translations for bunch of articles, It's hard to find which is the new knowledge article that is translated. In the Localization task, there is no information about the newly translated KB article number. How do we find which is the translated version of which ?
