Difference between Orchestration and IntegrationHub (Flow Designer & Spokes) to execute commands?

I'm not sure what the differences are between Orchestration and IntegrationHub (Flow Designer) to execute commands to remote devices.

For Orchestration, "Activity Designer" in Workflow can be used to execute SSH commands or REST-API.

For IntegrationHub, "Spokes" and "Flow Designer" can be used to execute SSH commands or REST-API.

Could you tell me how these 2 options are different, please? I understand the difference in licensing (ITOM for Orchestration, and NOW Platform for IntegrationHub).

Best Regards,

Aki

HI,

Yes they both are different. Orchestration is a run book automation where you can have Powershell activities, REST,SOAP, SSH,etc. We have AD activities in orchestration, SCCM,etc. Orchestration also have some built in activities available which can be used in workflow i.e create ad user, password reset, etc.

Integration Hub is a collection of spoke which are used in flow designer to automate task as much as possible.
WE have list of spoke in this link:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/orlando-servicenow-platform/page/administer/integrationhub/refere...

We can also create our own or custom integration using integration hub.

Coming to license yes both Orchestration and Integration hub requires a seperate license.

Thanks,

Ashutosh
