Hi,

Our mid server is keep getting down because of MiD server upgrade issue. whenever we restart services it's comeback online for sometime and went down.

ServiceNow & MiD servers are on same version but still MiD server is getting down and shows "MID Server failed to upgrade". Please advice on this issue.

ServiceNow Version#  glide-rome-06-23-2021__patch4-hotfix1-12-10-2021

MiD Server Version# rome-06-23-2021__patch4-hotfix1-12-10-2021_12-15-2021_1427

Thanks & Regards,

Vinil.

Hi All,

after restart MID Servet is up for few minutes and it went DOWN, so we restart the MID Server and immediately "Upgrade" MID sever. Now the MID Server is Stable [UP & Running].

Vinil,

Have you pulled the MID server logs to find out why the upgrade is failing? Might be that it cannot reach the SN install location it is configured to pull from?

You could also try using the 'Upgrade MID' related link on the MID Server record?

The logs will tell you why it is failing though...

Hope this helps,

Richard

Hi Richard,

We got this error.

Vini,

I am not sure that is the error preventing your MID upgrade, that is related to Discovery.

If you use the 'Upgrade MID' related link on the MID server record, what do you see in the MID agent and wrapper logs?
