Can we copy an image from our desktop and do a paste on the incident?
The Service desk team doesn't like the idea of taking a screenshot, saving the image and then uploading it to the ticket.

There's a Chrome extension called ServiceNow Utils that will allow you to do this as well.

Hi Chuck,
Thanks for your suggestion about ServiceNow Utils. I've tried it and it works for itil users in the back end, but not for non-itil users submitting tickets through the front-end Service Portal. Is there a way that will allow the same cut and paste functionality as SN Utils for inserting images into a ticket, but which is available through the front end?
