I'm trying to retrieve an update set in my PRD instance. I set it as completed in DEV and I thought I was supposed to see it in PRD when I clicked the Retrieve Completed Update Sets. Please assist me I'm still an entry level admin struggling. 🙂

On your Prod instance, when you navigate to System Update Sets > Update Sources, do you see your Dev instance listed as a Remote Instance?
What ever is listed here is the instance that you will be retrieving completed update sets from. So, if you happen to have a "test" instance, you may have to login there, retrieve your update set to that instance and then retrieve it to your Prod instance.

Verify the connection Navigating to Update Sources.
If this is for only one update set navigate to Retrieved Update sets Import through XML.

Hi
Are you moving Directly from Development instance to production (How many instances your company holding )
Developer instance
production instance
or you have
developer instance
test instance(UAT)'
Production
if so you have to move it first to test instance to see the changes and from their after UAT u can move the changes to Production.
