Hi Everyone,
The AD team has created a field at their side. And we at service-now side has created the same field in users table. But can someone let me know the process how to update the field present at service-now side when LDAP sync is done.
In the Transform Map, we will map the source field with the Target field. But how the value from AD comes to Service-Now.
Regards,
Lucky

So you mean the field we are going to add in the Attributes field with comma separated is the field that got created at AD side. Am i right?
[Jaspal]: Yes.
So, while populating the data of that field at Service-Now users table, we will map it in the Transform Map right?
[Jaspal]: Yes.
Also, last thing is, If we add the field let's say "Primary address" in the Attributes field in LDAP then, will it be automatically show up in the source field in the Transform map???
[Jaspal]: Yes. If it has a value in AD for user. If it is empty for all it will not show up.
Because we need to map that source field to target field. right?
[Jaspal]: Yes

Hi Jaspal,
I have added the field created at AD side in Attributes field of LDAP
Next clicked on Test Connection
Next went to LDAP OU Definitions --> Users --> Test Connection ..> Browse
When I open a user record from LDAP Nodes, I don't see the field I added over there.
Even in the Transform map I am not getting that field to select as a source field.
Please help
Regards,
Lucky

Instead of Test Connection. You need to Load All Records.

Hi Jaspal,
Yes, the field is now showing in the Source field of the Field Mapping.
But When i went to the staging table and check, that field is not present over there.
I have created a String type field on users table, and mapped that field to the target field. (It's giving a date actually)
But when I load all records and run the transform, the field in the users table is not getting updated.
Please help
Regards,
Lucky
