How to make related list visible if no record is added to that related list on Incident form.

Hello all,

 

I want to make the 'Attached Knowledge' and 'Incident Task' related lists available on the incident form After I create a new incident record. These related lists become visible only after I add a knowledge article or create a new incident task for this Incident.

Do this if you want to achieve your requirement

1) Right Click on Related list

2) Configure List Control

3) Ensure Omit if empty is unchecked

Even if no records are there it will show the related list

Hello, I added a ITIL role in to ACL for the new button visible on 'Attached Knowledge' related list, is it right?

And Create Knowledge UI action is also should visible for ITIL.

 

I want same in SOW, I could not not find ACL in workspace.

Hi @Spartan_snow 

 

Just as a precaution, you are changing the OOTB behavior, which could impact the process. Please make sure to train your SD agents and users on the new changes. This could also create issues during upgrades, as the OOTB functionality is being modified.
