hi all,
SCCM and ServiceNow Discovery are updating serial numbers for workstations and for some CI's SCCM enters bios serial number while Discovery enters baseboard serial number as the default. To handle this, I tried to create reconciliation rules (which should give SCCM the precedence) but they don't seem to work. At present, no specific integration has the precedence even after the reconciliation definition and the behaviour is the same as if the reconciliation definition is not working altogether.
is there something wrong in the definition?
Please note that I don't get 'SCCM' as the option for 'data source' and that is why I selected 'ImportSet' as the Data source.

The OOTB SCCM plugin does not going through the IRE where your rule will apply. You will need to update transform map to use IRE, you can also add SCCM as a data source. Discovery gets both types of Serial numbers. If you debug the probe or pattern which serial number is getting set? It should be the bios for both sources.
