Hi @rishabhnilk
A Record Producer is a specific type of catalog item that allows end users to create task-based records—such as incident records—directly from the Service Catalog.
For the best understanding, go to an OOTB (Out-of-the-Box) PDI. The Create Incident example is one of the most common Record Producers. In GRC, the Create Issue is another example.
So, in short—whenever you want to create a record like a Change, Problem, Knowledge Base Article, etc., through the catalog, you can use a Record Producer.
