User unable to see search box?

any ideas please?   is there an object within SNow that controls this?

Are you talking about the global search box?

Just you are not able to see the global search box or no one can??

Just confirm that you have not hidden the top banner section??

Yes it s the global search box, when the user logs on the search box is missing.

Top Banner is not hidden. Also when you collapse/expand banner it has not effect on search box. Any ideas?

there is a system property

Name	Description	Details
glide.ui.text_search.enable	Enable Global Text Search	Select the check box to enable or clear it to disable the global text search capability.

Also, ui_global_text_search is the ui macro that is the actual search box, ,make sure it there in the system ans is active
