I have created a custom search to display the catalog items and when I search "Application" it says no data found and when I search "Applications" I was able to see the items in search list.
In short, Servicenow states This is expected behavior. Custom search configurations on mobile are not supported. but ServiceNow is giving some workaround, pls check this reference link.
