Unable to submit vendor assessment from vendor portal

Hi ,

Few vendors are unable to submit the vendor assessment from vendor portal and i could see that variables were greyed out and not able to fill/enter the fields as shown below. Can anyone explain what might be the issue.

Hi,

Exactly vendor contact won't be able to submit the vendor risk assessment even if he is primary contact. Ideally vendor contact needs to be created first and then assessment should be submitted.

Hi ,

 

I have observed few things as below:

vendor contact was created after one day when assessment was created. 

so same vendor contact didn't get email when assessment was submitted to fill. (other vendor contacts got the email to submit the assessment)

since vendor contact is part of vendor, so he is getting the reminder emails to submit the assessment. 

In this case, vendor contact won't be able to submit the assessment ???

I don't understand this answer - why would the vendor contact, especially if primary, not be able to submit the risk assessment? Isn't that the point of having them as primary? What prevents them from completing the assessment?

Hi Mayura,

 

Not sure if this is still an issue for you - but even primary contacts need to be directly assigned to the requests in the portal in order to edit them. 

On the portal pages that show the assessments and the individual requests, there's an assignment dropdown that the vendor contact needs to update to ensure they're assigned to it.
