Is it Feasible of Automating Incident ticket Documentation in SharePoint Using GenAI (Now Assist)

Hi All,

 

There is a requirement where users want to automatically gather incident details from ticket fields and any attached documents. Once an incident is resolved, the idea is to use GenAI (Now Assist) to connect with Microsoft SharePoint and do the following:

  • Go to a specific folder in SharePoint.

  • Check if a document related to the same issue already exists:

    • If it does, update that document with the new details.

    • If not, create a new document with the incident information and save it to the folder.

Could you please let us know if this kind of workflow is possible using GenAI (Now Assist)? If yes, it will be appreciated some guidance on how it can be set up and if there are any limitations we should be aware of.
