Service now Now asisst - Agent AI certification

Dear all,

I am actually running all fundamental on demand course relatif to Now Assist and AI agent.
Is there a specific certification for ServiceNow Ai or is it included in ITSM certification ?

Good question. As of now in ServiceNow, there isn’t a single dedicated certification specifically just for Now Assist / AI yet. AI capabilities like Now Assist are currently covered as part of broader learning paths and specializations rather than a standalone certification. They are not directly included in the core ITSM certification (like CSA or CIS-ITSM), but you’ll see AI features being introduced gradually within those tracks and in newer micro-certifications or learning modules.

If you’re exploring AI seriously, I’d recommend:

• Continuing the Now Assist / AI Agent on-demand courses

• Looking into micro-certifications or partner learning paths focused on AI/GenAI

• Keeping an eye on updates from ServiceNow, since this space is evolving quickly and dedicated certifications may come soon

I am actually try to reach the red square at the far right down corner of the image.
So if I understand well I must start to get the exam related to ITSM fundamental first correct ?

Before starting AI ,  where you want to apply AI, Now assist , that module knowledge you should have.

Yes, in that sense , you can do ITSM fundamental course.

Note: Additional Suggestion: To hold 7 mainline Certs as per my blog , you need to have CIS-Data foundation( CIS-DF) by year end 2026.  ServiceNow is giving you chance to give the CIS-DF exam once  free of cost by 30th june'2026.

          If you are thinking for ITSM( in long run to do CIS-ITSM) , why not  you are utilizing this 2-3 months times and give CIS-DF .

Just think about it.
