There are many OOTB Agentic workflows with a SINGLE AI agent in it? How is it Agentic?
As per Agentic concept,
“Agentic AI is an Autonomous AI system which plans, reasons and orchestrates "multiple AI agents" to achieve a goal with minimal human intervention.”
The AI Agent Orchestrator does the coordination between multiple AI Agents to ensure they collaborate effectively to complete complex workflows.
But ServiceNow calls it as Agentic workflows even if there is only one AI Agent. 😕
Then what is the difference between AI agent and Agentic AI as per ServiceNow?
So confusing!!!
I asked several people and no one could answer. If you are aware, please let me know 🙂

As per Definition of Agentic Workflow - It Should be >1 AI Agents.
When I see ServiceNow System - Even when 1 AI Agent Runs Orchestrator is the First which RUNS and do the reasoning and Planning. It Does not do AI Agent Co-Ordinations but does the basic Reasoning to Call that one AI Agent.
This is Just a thought.
Also initial Release ServiceNow Calls these Use cases and now they Call Agentic Workflow.
