Hello,

We have a request to add count trend line to a existing column graph, which will help compare average outage time vs.  monthly outage count (see pictures below).

unfortunately, I have not been able to locate a solution to successfully accomplish this task.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi Don,

If you're looking to overlay one chart with another, ie: your bar chart illustrating Ave Duration with your line chart illustrating Outage Count, you will want to take a look at creating a report with multiple datasets:

https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/tokyo-now-intelligence/page/use/reporting/concept/c_Multipl...

As you can see from the landing page, this enables what I think you're describing.  They're not something I use that often but from what I can recall, there wasn't any issues.  The trickiest part was remembering how to drill down into the secondary dataset 🙂

An alternative is to configure this within Performance Analytics, however that not only requires you to be licenced but also know how to configure the PA objects required.

Hope that helps?

Thanks,

DJL
