I am about deploy in ServiceNow based project that project requires to complete the CAD exam . Any tips for completing the CAD exam and what topics should I focus More .

Recommended Preparation Steps

1. Complete the “Scripting in ServiceNow” and “Application Development Fundamentals” courses (included with training subscriptions).

2. Practice by building simple applications in your PDI (Personal Development Instance). For example:

   • Create tables and forms

   • Configure UI Policies and Client Scripts

   • Set up access controls
     These topics are directly tested in the exam.

3. Focus on high-weight areas such as:

   • Data schema

   • Business Rules

   • Client Scripts

   • Flow Designer

   • Application security

4. Create flashcards for:

   • Glide APIs

   • Dictionary attributes

   • Roles

5. Review commonly used scripts, including:

   • GlideRecord

   • GlideAjax

   • GlideForm

• Practice mock tests available online - That is just for practice. Don't rely on them.

Practicing all the above in your PDI is enough to clear the exam.
