Can I have a breakdown that works on two tables?

I have a Breakdown dashboard with several Scores widgets, some on the incident tabel and some on the SLA incident tabel. But I can't get all the widgets to follow the same Breakdown, because there is one on Incident Company and one for SLA Incident Company, is there a way to merge these together, or is this the reason why all the OOTB Dashboards are divided between SLA and Incidents, and never put together..?

I wasnt aware you had different breakdown sources, but you are right, the dashboard breakdown uses the breakdown source.

But you can delete the Incident SLA Company breakdown source as well, if you have followed the steps I have mentioned.

If you compare them, the criteria of the 2 breakdown sources are exactly the same.

Are you on PA since the Eureka release?

The concept of breakdown mapping is introduced in Fuji, while upgrading it was converted 1 on 1,

so the breakdown mapping is not used to combine breakdowns.

In your breakdown you can add a breakdown mapping, you only need one Company breakdown and can map it to all the tables.

Be aware that you will loose historic data for the involved breakdown, if you decide to merge your breakdowns.

Thanks, that is usefull on scorecards, but I'm trying to get it to work on a breakdown Dashboard by putting it on the top, to do that you define the Breakdown source and then I'm in trouble..

That should be covered, but it takes a few steps.

  1. You would need to follow these steps:
  1. Rename Incident Company to Company
  2. Add the breakdownmapping from Incident SLA Company to the (renamed) Company breakdown.
  3. Add the Company breakdown to all the Indicators that have Incident SLA Company breakdown
  4. Update all references from Incident SLA Company to Company breakdown, for example widget breakdown field
  5. Delete the Incident SLA Company breakdown
  6. Do a historic data collection for the changed indicators

Not sure I'm following you here.

When I go and manage my Dashboard I have two Breakdown Sources there now, after renaming the Incident Company to just Company:

The problem as I see it, is that when putting the breakdown on the top of the Dashboard, it use the Breakdown Source directly and not the Breakdown like it does on the scorecards, or am I totally off now?
