Hi Community,
I'm in the process of creating a report using extended fields in the list and those fields cannot be saved with the report.
The report is as below:
Task_CI Table
where task type = Change
I opened task table
Showing
Task.Number
Task.CreatedBy
Task.ShortDescription
CI.Class
CI.Name
I opened extended fields for Task and can see other extended fields and added Planned Start Date and Planned End Date [Change Request]
When I saved or ran the report those extended fields I added were not visible in the list of selected fields and not on the report output and disappeared from the selected list.
Note: I could use the Planned Start Date in the Order Results By Ok
Any ideas ?
Bug or me doing something wrong ?
I don't have admin access so I can't check any settings easily.

Do you have the same issue in the Report Designer (it appears you are using the legacy Report Builder)?

I'm experiencing this issue in the Report Designer.
Trying to get from a software license (alm_license) to the License Type (Model.License Type [Software Model]).
Can't get any sequence to work.

Do you have reporting on extended fields enabled on the instance?

We do have this property enabled.
It works on some other reports but not all and not all the time.
In messing with it, if I choose all of my columns and then run/save the report, I seem to have a higher success rate with extended fields.
I habitually build as I go with reports, so that kind of stinks.
