Catalog task is not getting assigned to assignment group automatically- Please help.

Hello Team,

I was testing one of the catalog item in UAT- I realized that catalog task was not getting assigned to assignment group automatically. Which should not be the case.

As to fix this, I went into the catalog item maintain- found the catalog item- click the workflow- checkout — click on catalog task property — and updated the fulfillment group and click on update. When I tested this again- the catalog task is not getting assigned to assignment group field. this still shows blank,

What am I missing? I followed all the steps please help me out.

Do you mean you did not find Assignment group field in Catalog Task or Assignment group field was empty in Catalog task. The reason I was asking is the script is setting Catalog Task Assignment group bot not RITM Assignment group.


I can see Assignment group field available in catalog task but coming as blank,


Thanks for confirming. The script you sent is from workflow or Business rule? Is Short description and description fields set correctly on Catalog task?

I just copy and past from workflow only- I mean the script only.


Short description and description fields are same.

Can you check Audit History on Assignment group field.
