Hello Experts!
I have a bunch of disabled PA Data Collection Jobs (i.e. the "ACTIVE" check box has been un-ticked).
Yet, I noticed that these jobs have executed in the past few days - as per the job logs for each job.
How can this be? I thought that by "checking" the "Active" check box in the Job definition, prevented the job from executing.
What have I missed?
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Check the Scheduled Jobs and see if they are in there. Probably yes. You can remove them so they don't run.

Are they running daily or just some days? Even though active is false, you can still run them on-demand.

They are running daily on a schedule - no-one to my knowledge will be running them on-demand, here.

OK. Thanks. I may have now found that some of the data collection jobs, although deactivated, are being called by other scheduled jobs, as you say. Even some of the collector jobs are set to "On Demand" are executing, so it must be a scheduled job elsewhere doing the runs. Looking on...
