Export to .xlsx

Hello everyone,

I have the following problem:

I have a dashboard (INSTANCE/now/platform-analytics-workspace/dashboards/...)

and am using a data visualisation.

Here, I have an export button accessed via the three dots.

The problem is that I can only download an Excel .xls file.

However, I would like to have an .xlsx file instead.

In a normal data visualisation, do I have a different download tool? Why is that?

My data visualisation tool with Pivot Table -> No .xlsx option there

A normal data visualisation has this function.

KB2482443 Report Export Issue: .xls Instead of .xlsx 

Resolution

To enable and use the .xlsx export option in Platform Analytics:

• Upgrade the instance to the Yokohama version or later, which introduces support for .xlsx export. Confirm that the .xlsx option is now available in the export menu after the upgrade.
• Verify the export file type options in the upgraded instance:
• List Report: PDF, Excel (.xls), Excel (.xlsx), Embed List
• Column, Vertical Bar, Indicator Scorecard: PowerPoint, PDF, PNG, JPEG, Embed PNG
• Dashboard: PowerPoint, PDF

Hi @CyrillW 

Every type of report has its own download format. Not every report is available in List view, and similarly, not all reports can be exported the same way.

For example, Pivot reports can be downloaded in Excel (XLS/XLSX) format, and they are not always available in List format.
