Hi experts,
I'm trying to implement two and more filters (breakdowns) on my Performance Analytics dashboard. So far in Dashboard Properties I added two Breakdown Sources: Account and Priority. Now having widgets with the same breakdowns in Indicators I can easily filter my Cases data by Account or Priority. It works fine.
But I can't filter my Cases by Account and Priority at the same time, for ex: Cases with Priority = 1 and Account = 'SomeCompany', because only one breakdown can be implemented at the same time. If I choose Priority, then widgets are filtered by Priority. If I choose Account, then Priority filter is cancelled and widgets are filtered only by Account. Do you know how to set PA dashboard so I can use two filters at the same time?
I have found doc about "breakdown relations", which says that I can filter data by first breakdown, then click on value in widget and again in indicator's details choose another breakdown for deeper filtering. Here is doc: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/london-performance-analytics-and-reporting/page/use/performance-analytics/concept/breakdown-relations.html. It works as cascading filtering. But is there possibility to select two or more filters (breakdowns) on the dashboard level?
Thank you.

Hi Maciej,
Have you checked the field "Collect breakdown matrix" for your Indicator? If not, check that field and rerun the collection job.
Please also remember that in PA you can only apply two breakdowns at a time.

Hi Marcello,
Why cant we apply more than two breakdowns at a time ? Do we have any property which states so?

Thank you Marcello,
yes, I tried it now and I can drill down my indicator with two breakdowns, one after another. It works fine. Thank you for this solution.
So I understand that I can't have two separate drop down filters (breakdowns) on my PA dashboard? I believe with Reports it's possible to have two separate Interactive Filters which would work together, but in PA I'm able to drill down data by first breakdown and then by second breakdown?
Thank you.

I'm glad it worked for you.
Widgets may allow different ways of entering data, but, to the best of my knowledge, current PA widgets will ask the breaks down one at a time. It does make sense, especially when you take into considerations that in PA one can exclude/prevent some breakdown combinations from showing up in the widget (Exclude a breakdown from the breakdown matrix).
Depending on your requirements, you could also display both breakdowns in a matrix (one as columns, and the other as rows) using, for example, the treemap option.
