Issue:
After migrating dashboards to Platform Analytics, interactive filters no longer retain their selected values when the page is refreshed or reloaded.
Background:
In the Classic UI, filter selections were preserved upon reload, providing a consistent user experience. This behavior appears to be lost following the migration.
Additional Observation:
When creating a new dashboard directly within Platform Analytics, filter values persist. This suggests the issue may be related to the migration process.
Question:
Could this be a known limitation of the migration? Is there a way to restore the expected filter behavior without rebuilding the dashboard from scratch?

Hi @Victor Ni
This appears to be a known limitation related to how interactive filters are migrated from Core UI to Platform Analytics. The migration process doesn't always preserve all the original filter behaviors and configurations, particularly around state persistence.
This appears to be a legitimate migration issue that ServiceNow acknowledges. You should consider opening a support case specifically mentioning filter state persistence problems after migration. The ServiceNow team has indicated they're actively addressing migration-related filter issues and can help troubleshoot specific scenarios.
The migration process, while comprehensive, doesn't guarantee 100% functional parity for all interactive elements, and filter state persistence seems to be one of the areas where manual intervention may be required post-migration
