Is there a way to create or update a CMDB Hierarchy filter widget to only display by default the Hardware CI data on the CMDB View dashboard?

I'm unable to create a new CMDB Hierarchy filter widget that only filter the Hardware Class (cmdb_ci_hardware). In our CMDB View dashboard, we want to have a CMDB Hierarchy filter widget to only filter Hardware CI data as default when CMDB View load up (currently the OOB CMDB Hierarchy filter is set to default to look at the Parent table "cmdb_ci").

Currently in ServiceNow OOB contain 2 CMDB Hierarchy filters, one that filter ALL classes (for CMDB View) and the other that filter only the Business Service class (Service View). 

Is there a way to create a new or update an existing CMDB Hierarchy filter widget to only display by default the Hardware CI data on the CMDB View dashboard?

Hello Vamsi and Jose,

I think you can update the CMDB Hierarchy Filter. Depending on what you want to do, maybe use an interactive filter, you create your won filter wither a Dynamic Content block, Custom interactive filter example. 

Or if on the dashboard you are using a custom UI Page, on the content dynamic block you can create your own event and catch him on the custom UI Page.
