PA Breakdown Widget for Aging Incidents

Hello,

Anyone here can share how they created a breakdown (manual or automatic) so that I can display on a Breakdown widget Incidents that are aging with breakdown of the following:

0-30 days
31-60 days
61-90 days
90+ days

This should be reference to the Age of the ticket. How can I capture the age of the ticket also?

Regards,
Diane

Diane,

The out of the box Incident Premium dashboard, Process by Age tab, and the automated indicator of "Number of open incidents" already breakdowns aging by aging groups. You could model after how that breakdowns for the aging works. OOTB the Bucket Group of "Incident Age Ranges (Days)" is used. You could either change those ranges, or create new version leaving the OOTB version alone.

Hi Brian,

Could you please look into this and help me out with this? Please go through the below info where I have tried the steps you have mentioned and still unable to get the result in dashboard.

  • Please le me know if the sys_id that I have used in the system proper ty is correct or not? and also the remaining steps which I have done is correct or not.
  • Also, please let me know if there are any other options that need to be selected in the Schedule or Schedule Entry and anything else that I am missing here.

I would recommend taking some Performance Analtyics training.  I believe bucket groups are covered there.

Take a look at what is available to you: https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_article&sys_id=44c3a3ecdbf43f84d82ffb2439961...

There are scripts to calculate the age of tickets for e.g. Incident.Age.Days available in Performance Analytics > Automation > Scripts

these scripts are referred in breakdown mapping for age bucket automated breakdowns. Once data collection job for indicator executed, numbers will reflect in buckets.

You can go through Bucket Group Exercise to understand it better.

I think my question is related to this treat. I was asked to change the order of the date ranges in the graph legend (see the pic) from low to high (00-01 Day, 01-05 days... 90+ Days). I was looking around but could not find any relevant setting for the breakdown source. Thank you for your time
