Report for assigned to was

In a Change Task I want to create a report to see the value of assigned to was. I have an assigned to metric where I can see where someone assigned to a specific person but I want to see who assigned it away from a specific person

I think your looking for the updated by value which occurs at the time of a re-assignment. So if you have a metric that fires off when assigned to changes - the updated by may be what your looking for - in face you may be able to go to the metric and add "created by"  and if your lucky you will see who updated the assignment field on the record- they would ultimately be who created the metric

The person that assigned it to someone else, will be the creator of the new metric record (new assigned to) and the 'updated by' of the old metric record (which ended when the new assignee was in). So related to what you want to see (who assigned to or who assigned away, the metric table should be your report source.
