Widget not displaying consistently

Hello all,

I am working with some Breakdown Scorecard type widgets to display Percent of Changes Closed on Time, as well as a few other similar reports, by various groups within our company. The widget is set up to display regional data by break out group. It works in about half the instances I have created but in others, which I've both set up as an Insert and Stay and as a fresh Breakdown Scorecard. On some of the widgets, the data for the different regions shows up in the graph portion, but not the value and in others the data does not show up at all. Initially I thought it was a delay or corruption, but I have rebuilt it and updated my browser as well as tested on other browsers with the same issue.

There is data if I drill down into the regional breakdowns, and other widgets work fine. PA Widget.PNGPA Widget 2.PNG

This is a conundrum...



If you are working on the same versions and setting the widgets up exactly the same way, I can't see how the widget is the problem.



How is your Roll Up breakdown configured?   Is that assignment group?


If you go to the indicators scorecard and click through the breakdowns, do you get what you expect?  


Have you verified that all the breakdown data is being collected?   Check for breakdown exclusions in your collection job.

The breakdown data is a bucket list of assigned groups. It works without issue on many other indicators and widgets, just not on a few. That was created by a team member with a Service Now Rep during our initial training (I wasn't working on this then).



I did go into the scorecards and started noticing something odd when I clicked into the individual group and region that isn't reporting. The Jobs are set up to run every day, but the data that is not displaying on the widgets have stopped being collected. For instance, the one above, the data stopped being collected on August 21 for EMEA and May 19 for APAC. However, in another breakdown group, that data is being collected without issue for the same indicator. The two pictures compare the same Indicator for the same region for two different groups.



I've gone through the jobs and the indicators and confirmed there are no exclusions and all breakdowns are being collected, so I know the issue isn't there, either.



Any other suggestions?

So were there changes closed after August 18 in the region EMEA for Web & CRM Development?


No, but in other instances where there have not been any changes closed recently, the value is still reported in the widget. I have someone in the ServiceNow internal team looking into this as well.
