Depending on the Normalize product you've purchased, the handling of Technopedia IDs and normalization data may vary. In products like FNMS, Technopedia IDs are integrated into hardware, software, and discovery model tables, where normalization typically occurs. FNMS effectively normalizes and maps data when utilizing Technopedia. However, if you're using the Data Platform product instead of FNMS, the normalized data might not be mapped automatically.
To ensure accurate mapping and deduplication of companies, manufacturers, publishers, products, versions, and editions, customization may be necessary. This customization is crucial for ensuring that the solution accurately reflects increments or decrements in stock counts or licenses.
