Currency in Software Asset Workspace

Hi SAM Superstars,

We're in the SAM Pro implementation where we have decided to go with Software Asset Workspace as the UI for process users. We're getting questions about inconsistent currency settings across this Workspace, especially why:

A. License usage tab presents all data in Euros

B. While Software Asset Overview tab shows USD

C. While License Position report shows GBP based on the user Country code...

Are there any SAM Pro - specific settings we can play with to adjust which report / view / workspace part presents data in which currency?

Is there any documentation that lists the drivers for the currency in Software Asset Workspace?

Currencies will display according to the default Session and Reference currency settings in the platform. There can also be locale settings corresponding to the location assigned to the User's record.

If all of your users are in the same geographic region and you are experiencing these issues, I suggest you open a ServiceNow Support Case for additional assistance.

I totally agree with @Daniel Slocum. Mostly all the reports reflect in the default currency setting of your instance check if you have set that up refer to doc

Control default currency field configuration and use in an instance.

Another reason this can happen if the entitlements are in different currencies. Go to License operations -> Software entitlements and validate the currencies are uniform in the Total Cost field.
