How to mark contracts that will never be renewed?

Hi Community,
My customer has expired contracts (in ast_contract) that he does not want to renew.
He wants to differentiate between expired contracts to renew and those that he will not renew anymore.
I see sub-states but I'm not sure if there is a corresponding one

Do you know how to mark contracts that will never be renewed?

Thanks
Christophe

Hi @Community Alums ,

You might want to create a Custom Checkbox, which flags the record as "not renew anymore".

Thanks Sandeep, I try to avoid creating custom fields. Do you think that's the "Active" checkbox could be used for that ?

Hi @Community Alums ,

Active checkbox has a Different functionality. So not to touch that.

Hi @Community Alums ,

I had implemented similar use case to one of my client. You can also do like below.

leverage the substate and add one choice "Will Not Renew".

Update your contract lifecycle process to leverage this sub-state when a contract is deemed non-renewable.
