How to update partially normalized discovery models

When we run through normalization, we end up with a lot of discovery models either Normalized but Edition cannot be automatically discovered, Partially Normalized, or Publisher Normalized.  The recommended action is to manually update these records.  We have hundreds, if not thousands of new discoveries each day that have models that fall into these two scenarios.  We don't have the ability to manually modify all these records.  We would like to run pattern normalization rules to resolve these issues, but the pattern normalization rules only run when the status = Match Not Found.  What is the recommended approach to get partially normalized items updated automatically, especially when pattern normalization rules would work in most situations?

We are opted-in to the ServiceNow content delivery service.  It seems our asset team has been sending these partially normalized discovery models to the content curation team and now are getting much better results.  They just indicated to me that this issue has been resolved.

You have it correct Bob.

The best course of action is to Opt in to the Content Service, which will send your not fully normalized Discovery Models to the ServiceNow Content team.  You would, however, want to create Pattern Normalization Rules for any homegrown apps which you utilize internally.
