Hello,
I have a question. I know that if we do not want certain software to appear in the compliance report in SAM Pro, we can set the "License under Management" field to False.
However, what should we do if a Software Model has not yet been created in the system, but due to discovery, Discovery Models and Products are being created and are appearing in the compliance report? I do not want these records to be included in the compliance report.
How can I achieve this when a Software Model does not exist yet?
Thank you.

Hi @SubhamA,
If the Software Model does not yet exist, you cannot set License under Management = false, because that setting is available on the Software Model.
Product Results can be generated for licensable products even when no Software Model exists. So the absence of a Software Model does not by itself prevent the product from appearing in reconciliation results.
First check the Discovery Model → Product Type. Only Discovery Models with Product Type = Licensable are considered by reconciliation.
If it is licensable and you don't want it managed for compliance, you need to address the corresponding Software Model. ServiceNow provides automatic Software Model creation for licensable products when com.snc.samp.automaticsmrcreation is enabled.
Once the Software Model exists, clear License under Management;
clearing this option excludes the Software Model from reconciliation results.
So there is no License under Management setting on the Discovery Model itself.
If the product is appearing as a Product Result without a Software Model, check its Product Type/licensability and the Software Model creation/matching configuration.
