I create a removal candidate and check the notify check box. An emails is sent to the user the license or computer is assigned to as expected. The end user is asked to respond Yes (approve) to keep the software, no (reject) to remove the software. When they click Yes or Approve the state goes from Awaiting User to Awaiting Approval. The documentation says that the manager will need to approve if the user wishes to keep the software, but this does not appear to be happening. I do not see any email or approval task for the manager.
Am I missing something or is the expectation that the Software Manager will reach out to the manager for approval offline?

Hi @Dwight Mickley,
was able to reproduce your issue and was able to solve it. I've added user to the "Software Manager" group and now I'm able to approve the manager tasks.

Thanks that was the issue. So when the documentation says it will go to the manager for approval, it really means members of the assignment group of the removal candidate.
