Salesforce integration with SAM Pro servicenow

Hi All,

We're currently involved in sales force integration within ServiceNow SAM Pro. However, we've encountered an issue where we come across blank users and software models due to missing publisher, product, version, and edition information. We're keen on resolving this problem and would greatly appreciate any insights on how to trace the data flow. If anyone has encountered a similar situation or has suggestions, your input would be immensely valuable.

Thank you in advance!

Hi @Sujithra Govind ,

Hope you are doing great.

To trace the data flow and resolve this problem, we can implement a data validation process and add data integrity checks at various stages of the sales force integration within ServiceNow SAM Pro.

  1.  Data Validation Implement data validation rules that check for missing or invalid information in the sales force integration data before it is imported into ServiceNow SAM Pro.
  2. Data Transformation Perform necessary data transformations to map sales force data fields to the corresponding fields in ServiceNow SAM Pro.
  3.  Data Enrichment Utilize data enrichment techniques to gather missing information from reliable sources or prompt users to provide the necessary details during the integration process. This will ensure that all essential data fields are populated.
  4. Error Handling and Logging Set up a robust error handling and logging mechanism to capture any issues encountered during the data integration process. This will enable us to monitor and troubleshoot any potential problems efficiently.
  5. Regular Data Audits Conduct regular data audits to identify and rectify any discrepancies or missing information in the existing SAM Pro records. This proactive approach will help maintain data accuracy over time.

Hi @Riya Verma

Thank you for the response!

This is not custom integration, this is from salesforce spoke.

@Sujithra Govind - We are facing the same issue. Did it resolve ?

This is happening across multiple customers from what I can see.
There is likely an issue with the transform although oddly some records come across without error but others do not.
Not sure if this is due to a custom configuration of data in the Salesforce CRM?
