Hi Community,
We have a new customer who would like to restart fresh with the SAM Pro Module. Is there any way to completely remove all data from the SAM tables?
I realize this might sound like a simple request, but it could be a really valuable use caseāfor example, when dealing with poor implementations and needing to start over.
How do you usually approach this? Do you use a specific data management strategy? Iāve noticed there are several tables that canāt be fully cleared out, which makes it tricky.
Thanks in advance for your insights

Hi,
the best way would be to clean all workspace lists under "license operations" (as they really belonging to SAMP) to ensure to get rid of all old SAM stuff. List of all tables - List of ServiceNow SAM Tables - ServiceNow Community
For discovery models, please remove all software installation records first and trigger later the scheduled job to remove discovery models without a linked sw install.
Did you already reach out to ServiceNow customer support, maybe they've a Solution or script in place, give it a try.
Best, Dennis

Dear @dreinhardt Sorry for the delayed answer.
What is the easiest way to get rid of it to make a fresh start ?
Create a Case in the NowSupport ask for repair and unistall of the Application.
After the repair you get a Uninstall Button on the new Application Manager.
During the Uninstall option you will get a Checkbox where you can select to delete and clear all tables relevant to the system.
I first tried to do some data management jobs with the Support to clear some stuff out but It was a little bit mess.
