SAM - Software Reclamation Rule - Total Hours Used

I was wondering if there was a way to set the Total Hours Used value so it can capture users who have not been using the software at all.

How it works at the moment. I think the minimum number of hours you can state before software can be reclaimed is 1.

I don't know if what I am asking is possible but would be good to hear thoughts on the matter.

Setting the minimum number of hours to 1 means that if the total usage is 59 minutes down to 1 minute, a Removal Candidate record will be created.  Use of total hours will not create Removal Candidate records for no use.  For no use, you should use the Last Used method where you can specify that it must have been used at any point in time during the measured date range.

Hi Daniel. As always you provide some great insight and advice when it comes to the SAM product.

Could I just ask about the following scenrio. Our customer wants the ability to track Software Installed ON SCCM which has never actually been used. I dont belevie this is possible but wanted a 2nd opnion on the question.

I beleive the way it works is that it actually needs to have been used at some point in time in order for it to even populate the software usage table ?

Hi, not sure if using NO ACTIVITY (Recl. rule) check box ever gave you the desired outcome you wanted
