Hello everybody,
I have a question about vRealize compliance in Software Asset Workspace and would appreciate it if anyone can help me with this scenario.
We have a few VMware vCloud Suites licenses, and this suite includes vSphere and vRealize Advanced, both licensed on a per-processor metric. For vSphere it is not difficult to find discovery information about how many physical servers require Vsphere processor licenses, but on the other hand we have almost nothing discovered about Vrealize component installations. I am considering that the license requirement should be the same as for vSphere as we are talking about licenses that were purchased as a software package. but anyway, I'm not sure about my effective license position because I heard a lot of content where it was saying that all vrealize software management is done by VMWare consoles and my main questions are: how could we consume this information from the console in the ServiceNow SAM Module Pro? How could we be sure that the customer is using the correct features according to their license subscription level? What is the recommended process guide we should follow to do the license compliance of this software?
Thanks in Advance.

Firstly, please you check that the vCenter discovery pattern is implemented correctly. The best was of checking this is by viewing the samp_vmware_license_key table and making sure it is populated.

Hello I’m interested in knowing if ServiceNow able to collect inventory data and calculate licenses for vRealize?
