In Workspace, how can I get the count of open main tabs

This is is a bit intriguing. But IF it's really worth digging into, is difficult to say at this point. We still don't know what the thought process is here. Would be cool to know why this requirement came to Akanksha in the first place.

@MortenPettersen I did spent some time on this but couldn’t find a way to implement this.

There should be a script to get count of tabs and subtabs but it could be hidden or not accessible to us.

@Akanksha1 Were you able to accomplish this?

As my primary role as an agent who can be working on multiple calls at once, some pre-warning that I'm approaching the limit would be useful as if I trigger the max tabs during an active call, esp phone call, I then have to hurriedly do some very rough hacking/housekeeping/culling to get the tabs reduced to allow me to continue.  It would not be the first time I've culled tab(s) that I didn't want to in my rush.

SOW tab implementation is very slow (compared with browser's tab implementation) so flicking thru the SOW tabs is slow (required when scanning thru to see what can be culled).  Not good in an active phone call as it affects the customer's experience.

The same logic to give a pre-warning could also be applied to the total tab max (approx 35 top-level + 2nd-level tabs).

Would be useful to have a count on each top level tab of how many 2nd-level tabs it contains to help with any culling.

A more descriptive error explaining which limit has been reached would be helpful.  It just says max reached but not if it's top level tabs or total top- + 2nd- level tabs.  (see attachments)

Increasing either of the limits (10 top level tabs or 35(?) total tabs) won't necessarily help as it would potentially just postpone the issue.
