Hi,
I want to understand what's the difference between activating a language Plugin vs creating a language record and adding translations manually.
Apart from translations what else does the language plugin provides. I need to activate Vietnamese for which a plugin is not available. What support will Vietnamese lack that the plugin could provide?

Hello @krohan
You need to have language plugins before you can do the translation.
Here's what installing the language plug-in will do.
It translates all OOB components into specific language (translation records will be added into 5 translation tables).
Enable option in the user profile and in the instance to select the plugin language you installed.
Whatever the custom components like Variables, info messages etc are to be manually translated by adding the records in respective translation tables
Please mark this answer as helpful and correct if helped. This helps both community and me.
Kind Regards,
Ravi Chandra

Hi, Thanks @Ravi Chandra_K
For a language like Vietnamese for which a plugin is not available. What all can be done? And will it be fully supported?
There are some steps mentioned in this doc.
Apart from this is there anything else we can do?
