View Current Update Set button

The View Current Update Set button next to the Update Set Picker does not do anything.  At my last employer and in my personal developer instance (and every other instance I've used such as at Knowledge Conferences), it opens the current update set....

Event Log History

Does anyone know the retention history for System Policy --> Event Log?       I was trying to look back for failed login attempts, but it appears to only go back a week or so.Thanks,-Tyson
