Hi,
Just need some assistance on an item I need to create.
I have built and order guide and on the main page, I have enough variables that user's will need to scroll up and down to fill it out. My management does not want that and want it to be closer to one page only.
I was thinking of creating a button on the page that hides the variable set and makes visible the rest of the variables.
How would I create this? I am thinking a UI macro but I do not have the scripting ability to make it.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Vibee

Hi Vibee,
Can you provide a screen shot of your current implementation? It might inspire some ideas.

Hi Vibee,
I would take a look at Catalog UI Policies. It's not a button, but you can show/hide fields based on the values of other fields.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I probably should explain my query a bit better. I understand Ui Policies, but what I would like for a button for the user, so that once they fill out the visible variables, it hides those and makes visible the hidden ones. This way, it almost acts like a two-page section instead of having the user scroll up and down to fill out the order guide variables.
There is a two part section we want to split the order guide page into...one for user/requestor information and one for choosing the access/application requests that will trigger the rule base for the catalog items on the next page.

Hi,
Sorry but I no longer need this. My management does not like having buttons that do that and instead want a multi-page process even though the Order guide on has a 3 or two step process.
I will probably utilize the Wizard application to create this.
I will be creating a new question though, as I am having some trouble modifying the checkout screen for my wizard.
