Can the Visual Task Board be used for recurring tasks?

I have not used the VTB yet but was curious if it can be used for recurring tasks.   For example, I manage a 3 shift Network Operation Center. Each shift has a checklist of tasks that they perform on a daily basis.   Will the VTB be an ideal tool to manage my recurring tasks?

VTBs are ____ing excellent interfaces for dealing with tasks that already exist.   The VTB itself will not help you in generating the recurring tasks.   You'll need to look at catalog items or scheduled jobs that do the creation via script.



So once   you're over that obstacle, there's only one VTB weakness in your way:   VTB's are personal.   You can't take a group and say "this work group can view VTB XYZ".   You have to assign members to it manually, which may be a pain in the pitooter if your shifts change and you have a different VTB / shift.   That'll be a ton of person swapping.



I think you're looking at a solution with a bit of Customization, in which VTB provides a possible interface for contending with the work.
