Content Items not displaying in Service Portal

Hello All,

My team and I are configuring the Service Portal right now and it hasn't been a very pleasant experience. One issue is that the Content Items within the Catalogs do not display in the Service Portal. Does anyone know a work around so the content items can be utilized?

Appreciate any help!

Could you be more specific about where they're not showing up? You may have to adjust one of the oob widgets to accommodate.

No problem. I created a Business Needs Catalog. And in that Catalog I have a Category of Email Needs and Help. Within this Category, there are 4 items- 2 Catalog Items and 2 Content Items (test as description)- See image below

In the Service Portal, I select the Email/Messaging Needs and Help from the SC Categories Widget. After that's selected, the items within that Category display in the SC Category Page Widget to the right. Only 2 items display, which are both the Catalog Items- Content Items do not display. These Content Items are External Content and redirect to a URL within the Catalog. However they don't even appear in the choices. Any Ideas?

It looks like it was a design decision by development as can be seen in PRB686410.   If you would like you can enter an Incident or put in an enhancement request here: https://hi.service-now.com/com.glideapp.servicecatalog_cat_item_view.do?sysparm_id=98c2bb69bc3eb0003...   to get this added in a future release.

Any ideas? Do you think there's a way to modify the SC Category Page Widget to display content items?
