Does Flow Designer work with Record Producer?

Hello,

I added the flow field to form but it does not appear that you can use flow designer with record producers.   Get catalog variables is only for catalog item.   My guess is you need to use the script portion of the rp and standard wf editor.   Any ideas?

The answer is Yes, you can 🙂

I'm running in a New York instance and have just created a flow to use with my Record Producer. 

On the producer itself I added the 'Flow' field via 'Configure - Form Design', then you can tell the producer which flow to use. 

In the Flow the trigger is Incident Created. In my example below I then updated the incident fields, then grabbed the Catalog Variables. You will then see all the variables as pills on the right hand side to use throughout your flow.

I tried something very similar to what you did. However, how are you able to choose the actual Flow for this on the record producer? I added the Flow variable on the record producer but when choosing the flow, the one I created is not listed.

After looking some more, the only Flows to choose from are ones with the Service Catalog trigger. Thanks

I have the same problem as you, I cannot find my Flow to the list. Did you find a solution?

Unfortunately no. There was an idea submitted in the Idea Portal but it looks like it was rejected.

With over 1600 views on this post, clearly accessing variables from the Record Producer is something the community wants/needs. I know using the Get Catalog Variables to access the Record Producer variables worked in the New York version, but the upgrade to Orlando broke it.
