Group Roles are not getting added to a user. Roles related list remains empty.

Observed an issue on all the instances DEV, QA and Production. When user is added to a group it is no more adding the default roles of the group to the user. This is a P1 issue on client environment.

The "ITIL Users' group have 3 roles but no roles are now seen granted by the group to the user by default.

Recently the only change on the instances was done was "Activated the Contextual Security: Role Management (com.glide.role_management) plugin". Is there any impact of this plugin? This was enabled since there were too many duplicate roles were added to the users.

Please advice.

Hi,

how is the user added to group?

if by import then that won't work

Group Roles are not Inherited by Group Members on Import

Thank you for reply. User are added manually to the group now. But the roles are not getting applied. Do you know how to inactivate the below  plugin

I was able to Rollback the plugin on dev instance but the issue still exist. The user adding manually to the group but group roles are not getting added to the user.

Anyway to Inactive this Plugin on the Prod Instance. I have initiated the Roll back however, still can see it Status Active. Multiple time have Logged out and Logged back in.
