How can I view a PDF inside a KB article?

I would like to use the ton of PDF documents as KB articles without having to download and open the PDF separately.

Unless someone knows something I don't, I think you'll end up needing to convert your PDF into rich HTML and paste that into your KB article. I don't think you'll be able to have the PDF load in-page without requiring the user to download and open in a separate tab/window.

Your best option is to convert the pdf to HTML.

You could possibly use a Javascript pdf viewer such as PDF.js but this would likely entail more work and maintenance in the long run.

There's actually an app in Share that does just what you're looking for available here: ServiceNow Share. Instead of converting your PDFs, this app will allow you to display them in the KB Viewer.
