I do not understand the Keywords field when pinning an article to my Featured Content section in Knowledge v3. I go to Featured Content tab in the KB, I select an article and Submit. The error indicates that I must select a keyword. I choose the Lock on Keyword. But then I am lost. What is suppose to be there? This whole field is empty and I do not see a way to add Keywords. The Wiki Documentation that I find for this is not helpful or complete enough for me. I have attached the area in question to this post.

Hmm i don't think this function is available OOB. If I am understanding correctly, you want to replicate the Featured Content widget on the homepage, but on your individual KBs. I believe this is something you would have to configure. I noticed you opened up a new thread for this (good thinking) Feature Content on individual Knowledge Bases -- Pradeep is pretty savvy I think you have a good audience on your thread to help you achieve what you are looking for.

Sure, that makes sense. So to do this you need to be in the feature content related list under the knowledge base your article is in and when you go to add the keywords, do not add "homepage" only add your custom key words. Just to make it clear the knowledge homepage pins and your custom keyword pins live in the same place.
Checkout my example below. Here are 2 different articles I have pinned to my HR knowledge base. The first one has the keywords "holiday" and "china" when users search the KB mentioning either of these words, the article will float to the top and will be highlighted. Now checkout the second article I pinned, this one is only pinned as homepage, this will be under the featured content on your knowledge homepage. No search terms are going to pull this article up. Both of these live in the same place.

April - this information has been very helpful. I am changing the subject now. On your displayed image of your HR Knowledge base in the previous post you have an icon of a 'little guy'. Try as I might, no icon that I put in the icon field will work. Is there a setting that I need to change to allow images to display on the Knowledge home page? I swore that I created an incident for that some time ago and I was told that this field is not open yet for Knowledge managers. Are you on Geneva? Also, what is the Questions tab?

Hi Barbara,
Great question, I am on Geneva and from my knowledge these icons do not work for the knowledge homepage, only in the list view.
Here you can see my knowledge bases in the list view and I've customized my list with the gear icon to show my icons in the list view.
But if you checkout my front end, I've still got these default square.

Hi Barbara,
If all of your questions have been answered , can you mark this as answered so we can close this string?
Thanks,
April
